Nukote Coating Systems products were utilized as part of “The Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme” designed to reduce drinking water consumption by providing purified recycled water from Brisbane Waste Water Treatment Plants to replace potable water currently supplied for use in power plants and other heavy industries. It is the largest recycled water scheme in the southern hemisphere. This scheme will also augment water supplies in Wivenhoe Dam through construction of two advanced water treatment plants at Gibson Island and Luggage Point and the related water distribution pipeline to Bundamba.
