This project was initiated as atrial resulting from third party laboratory testing of Nukote Coating Systems products in 2012. Operations Technology Development (OTD) is an organization that investigates new technologies and makes recommendations to US utilities. The 2013 OTD publication recommended Nukote products and Con Edison established a trial for the products in a problematic compressor station in NewYork.
The client contacted their preferred contractor, Precision Pipeline Solutions, who procured the product and the requisite equipment systems from Nukote.
Nukote provided full training to Precision personnel and was present during this project application on site.
